I think that the safest way is to get the Feiyu AK2000C, but I am concerned about the selling value. Places like KEH actually buy your cameras and lenses if you want to sell them, but I'm not sure if there is a 'gimbal equivalent website' of KEH. Can you enlighten me on this?

I started in video about 4 years ago and went thru the normal rotation of starting out cheap because I hope it would work and I didn't want to spend the money not knowing what I will need.

The cheap steadicam style stabilizer (you don't get a real Steadicam because of the price) is impossible to balance. I returned mine after a week of painful experimentation. Got a Moza Air when it was on sale at $400 (original $600) and had been extremely happy.

It takes time to learn how to and develop a style with gimbel. But with the motorized gyroscopes it is a lot more forgiving and get you up and running quickly.

I doubt the gimbel would have a strong resale value because it is a pretty new technology with a narrow market. Prices has dropped drastically since I purchased my Moza.

Make sure you get one with payload that fits your camera/lens set up. If possible, check out the mounting configuration. My original Sony RX100M4 was too light which I had to add weight to it. The GH4 was perfect. The GH5 with wider body forced me to mount the camera on the outer rail causing a little problem. But the gyroscope was able to compensate it and it works fine.

Good luck.

Thanks for your informative reply
