From X-T3 to X-S10? Anyone did it?

Though I want to see the experience of people who did the jump from X-T3 to X-S10, do you regret it?

Does it feel cheaper than an X-T3 (materials, look...)?

How good is the ibis in terms of SS?

How's the AWB? Personally I found it awful on the X-T3, I use either sunny or cloudily but never AWB because it tends to slightly shift to magenta

Pros to X-S10:

- Smaller and lighter

- IBIS

- Grip is really nice

- Selfie screen concerns are over blown—I find it no harder to use than a flip-up screen even if it looks a bit less elegant. Plus, the simple fact is that ANY future Fuji is likely to have this issue given the importance of video for so many Fuji shooters

- You gain a film simulation or two

- IBIS is very effective for static subjects

- Same image quality as the X-T4, Fuji’s current flagship APS-C

What is not as nice:

- Build quality/switch and dial quality is lower than the XT series cameras

- No weather proofing

- PASM implementation is not nearly as elegant as the XT series, though reasonable people could disagree on this

- Viewfinder is lower resolution and, in particular, lower magnification than your current camera.

The only potential game changer is IBIS. How much that matters depends on your particular needs. Other than that, on balance I would take your current camera over the X-S10. I hate the PASM implementation on Fuji cameras.

How do you know all next models will have the selfie screen?

Rumors saying X-T5 will have x-t3 mechanism but slightly bigger, X-H2 most probably selfie screen

I don’t know what screen they will include. What I DO know is that the X-T series is aimed at hybrid shooters, and flippy screens are very popular with video shooters because they allow you to easily see yourself when shooting yourself. Since it’s such a nice feature for vloggers, it seems likely they will continue to use it.
