Get a good camcorder, for the advantages stated above.

Well... respectfully, I have gone to a couple of car shows where the dynamic range overwhelmed the sensor of my a6500 and it was still a problem to not clip highlights even when shooting in S-LOG2.

And I don't shoot much wildlife, but there were times when in Mt. Tamalpais State Park and seeing deer under the trees and I had to crank the ISO.

Also, shooting a birthday party a few years back in low light was still kind of difficult for my a6300 (RIP). So I would imagine that should the OP ever want to shoot a Bday party for a grandchild it could get noisy.

So that's where I was coming from.
