Lightroom Classic - Quick Develop tip
4

I normally just head past Quick Develop and head for Develop proper, but just learned of something you can do in Quick that you can't in Develop.

Suppose you have a set of photos that, for whatever reason, need the same increase in Exposure (Lightroom Exposure, that is!), or some other tone control.

In Develop you can synch them, but you can only move the Exposure, say, to the same value, when what you want is the same increment.

That's what you can do in Quick.  Make sure that you are in Grid view, and open up the Tone Control panel, it's collapsed by default, and you'll see all the regular tone controls.

Select all the photos that need adjustment.  Then, the tone controls will apply the same relative changes, e.g. plus one stop, to all the selected photos.

You'll likely not need it very often, but it could save a lot of time if you do.  Of course, you would never leave Exposure Comp on by mistake, would you..........
