UW DX zoom recommendation needed

awwHi all,

I was not sure if I should post this question in Nikon SLR or 3rd party lens forum but then figured out the DX forum probably would be the best place.

I just came back from Lisbon where I used D7100 + Nikon 16-80mm. The combo was just fine except for a few places where I found I could use a wider lens.

I cannot carry two lenses because of a physical limitation but I could "predict" the need for an UW zoom when we were going to museums or castle interiors.

So I checked the "usual suspects":

Nikon 10-20 AF-P, Nikon 10-24mm and Tamron 10-24mm:

all three have max. aperture of f/3.5.

The Tokina 11-20mm has max. aperture of f/2.8.

I did not consider Tokina 14-20mm because it is not much wider then my current zoom, even though it's max. aperture f/2.0 looks very attractive.

Side note: about 10 years ago I bought Tokina 12-28mm and returned it because I did not like its feel and images were not so great. If I remeber correctly the lens had low contrast/no "pop" comparing to Nikon.

While we are not planning any more vacations at the moment, I'd like to get an advice now so I can possibly look at used market or BF sales.
