I have a few, but one of my biggest pet peeves is YouTubers who start a video by throwing their camera/lens in the air and catching it.

That - people throwing their cameras in the air - does that happen often?  I quit YouTube when they started censoring political opponents.  But I do believe I'd quit watching photographers' videos if that's the norm.

Serious question - is that a thing?

This is obviously a bad idea as it can cause damage, and viewers may go on to copy this behaviour.

It also seems a little arrogant to me, as if they're suggesting that they're so rich that they can just subject their equipment to potential damage without having to worry. I would literally lose sleep if I accidentally bumped my camera into something.
