Z6 II slow image review

Hello good people. I've just upgraded from a DSLR to mirrorless for the first time, and so far having one frustrating issue that makes want to return the camera.

After I take a picture, the camera goes back to live view for some reason, and only then shows the picture I took. The process is around 1.5 seconds long, while on my toy D3400 same process takes a mere second. But the most frustrating thing here is getting distracted by in-between live view, especially when you're shooting action.

I tried friends' Sony A7 II, it's much faster in this regard.

Is this delay, um, normal, or how can I eradicate it? Thank you so much.

P.S.: Memory card is Kingston SDXC 170 MB/s. Switching from RAW to JPEG basic doesn't make a difference.
