Your oldest photos: what's their biggest issue?
3

My first camera was a Zenit SLR that didn't even have TTL (through the lens) light metering. (I asked my entire family for a cash birthday gift for my 12th birthday and got this one at the photo store at the corner of our street.) It was manual-everything.

But: the biggest issues with my old photos from back in the 1980s weren't exposure or focus, but rather, composition. I actually got exposure and focus right most of the time. But I just aimed the lens at the center of the action, and paid no attention to composition at all.

Is that just me?

(Of course I had the excuse that back in those days, I had to learn things the hard way, without the internet to help me get better faster.)
