Do you plan to combine the shots? Would be a fine mosaic i guess.

Have the software so thank you for the idea. Am into panoramas for my ordinary photography but have not tried that for my astrophotos. Time to try I guess...

One of the new BSI Sony sensors? Incredible image quality for such short exposures without calibration frames!

ZWO camera and Sony APS-C BSI Sony sensor.

The images was taken at zero degrees centigrade and there are three hot pixels at that temperature and that's it. At -20 C the image sensor is incredibly clean.

Actually calibration frames seems to degrade the image quality (the standard using bias, dark and flat calibration frames worked fine for my old CCD camera but not so for the CMOS image sensor).

CCD cameras do basically have fixed pattern noise and CMOS image sendors have random shoot noise - so applying the same calibration process seems a bit odd - at least to me.
