I recall someone at some point talking about using one. Heck, there seem to be adapters for just about everything.

I think Nikon might do a retro S form of Z. They did revisit the S in a film body well after digital had taken over. And they now have their second retro model, and they based that on a Z. I would have said No to a retro after the Df, but obviously they now have a Retro design department. What do they do after the Zfc? Well, probably a full frame variant, but then they look around at the Nikon history and they're bound to spot that retro S...

So, a resounding maybe.
