R5 version three 8 years away but you’ll get all that good use for sure - as long as that lockup issue doesn’t get worse

and as long as they don’t firmware hose it for your 3rd party stuff.

My R5 isn't allowed to connect to wifi or bluetooth, and I didn't bother to update to the latest firmware version for good reasons.

I think if you are happy with the performance then don't update firmware.

And actually you will have spent less than others who jump around with the latest and greatest less expensive stuff but never get the great stuff years earlier because of the $4500 up front costs.  In other words, you are getting to enjoy More for Less over the next eight years if you shut down the spending

That said, resist getting on the forum or the GAS will continue
