Thanks, yes. This is why it's so attractive to me. I get an OVF for the occasional wildlife trip or sports, but all the benefits (except lower weight) of a mirrorless system for other use - basically two cameras in one, three if you consider the 10-bit video out to a recorder. While I love the idea of large resolution (I am a cropper - especially with wildlife) I think the usability of live-view in the d780 is the better bet for the all-round purpose I want this for.
