Traveling (flying) with film and film camera
1

So I will be traveling  (flying) and am bringing a 35mm SLR camera with me.  The camera will NOT have film loaded.  I have purchased a Domke film bag and have the film stored in that (still sealed in the boxes), so the camera does not have any film.

Can the film camera itself go through a scanner at the TSA security check-point without damaging it?  The film I will give to them to inspect by hand but wasn't sure about the camera itself.

Thoughts on this?  Didn't know if there was anything in the camera that could get messed up from the scanners?  (The camera does have an exposure meter built-in).
