Suggested lenses for forest photography?

I'm planning to buy some forest land soon and also have a budget to upgrade my camera from a Nikon D2Hs (APS-C).  I'm vacillating between a Nikon Z6ii or a Fuji GFX 100S.  If I went with the 100S, which lens do you suggest for shhoting inside the forest?  Would the Fujinon 50 mm f3.5 be fast enough for the light?  Maybe I should be asking if the 100S has a sensor ok for the light stopped down to 5.6 or even 8 if I want the trunk and canopy both sharp.

It looks like, for "macro" subjects, I could zoom in during post and still have plenty of detail without having a true macro lens.
