R5/IBIS with older manual focus lenses

Hello all,

I have a question for R5 users who've used adapted older lenses . I currently use a Canon EOS R and used Zeiss ZE lenses with great results using the focus guide and also zooming in 10x to get the tack sharp results. On the Zeiss 135mm sometimes the longer focal length is difficult to control the shake even on tripod as I focus (probably need a more study tripod!). I recently bought a Hasselblad Zeiss 250mm CF lens that's not ZE and has no electronic contacts.  So my question for R5 users:

1. Will I be able to 10x zoom into the image to achieve precise focus while IBIS controls the shake?

2. Will Focus Guide work with adapted lenses that have no electronic connection? The adapter I have isn't chipped.

Thanks for any information, maybe I should have posted this on the adapted lens talk forum?
