I have been searching for a way to get the most out of my Z50 and my lenses. First j thought about switching to fullframe. Since the 50mm 1.8 S I have is a great lens but just a bit too tight for general purpose and the 16-50 kit isn't bright enough.

I found out I can swap my 50mm for a Sigma 18-35 1.8, I would just have to buy a FTZ adapter which isn't the worst thing to have. I thought about pairing it with a 50-250 kit lens to have a great 2 lens setup that can tackle just about any situation.

I'm curious what you guys think. Is the 18-35 good enough wide open? Surely it can't match the 50mm 1.8 S but I don't print very large anyways, I think the biggest I would go is A3 size.

I suspect a Sigma 18-35 with adapter will feel big and unbalanced. I personally would consider only lenses with Z mount for the compact Z50. There a many new affordable fast options now, with the new Viltrox lenses and the coming native 28 and 40.
