Lens Recommendation For Wildlife - Bison, Bighorn Sheep, Moose, etc.

I'm a Fuji X-T4 owner. My budget is $2500. Looking to add a lens for wildlife photography of larger wildlife such as bison, bighorn sheep, moose, bears, pronghorn antelope, wolves, coyote, and also fox which would be on the smaller end of the spectrum.

I prefer Fujinon glass but open to other ideas.

My 18-135mm is not enough reach for the larger animals where I need to keep my distance.

I do see there is a Fujinon 100-400mm in the $1800 range.

I did a search on Flickr to see what others have produced with the Fujinon 100-400mm: https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=fujinon%20100-400mm

If $2500 is not enough, how much more would I need to spend?

What are your recommendations?
