Why they don't 3D cameras anymore?

Back in the mid 70's I couldn't afford an electronic flash so I used flash bulbs.  I had an old Graflex unit, like what you see on old press cameras, but it would really put out some light!!  For close up work, like my photo in the cave, I used the little square "Magic cubes" (I think that is what they were called) and that worked well.  I had to carry everything in a metal box with a water tight lid (an ammo box) and it made crawling around in the smaller caves a real pain, but the camera was safe.  I enjoyed it back then, except for the times things would get real tight and the anxiety would come back, but now I'm much heavier and have a bad back.  I'm not very flexible and I would hate to have a bunch of guys carry me out of a cave.  That would be embarrassing!
