Like a baboon...

Same species of spiders can come in the whole variety of colors. More on, the same spider of certain species can change its color to different one (gradually, over a few days).

Western spotted orbweaver (Neoscona oaxacensis) is usually brown, sometimes even light brown. I came across a spider of this species which was almost black... with red spots where spinnerets are.

First impression: stylish! Second though: red behind... Like a baboon...

Whatever.

Many people photograph birds. Not many people photograph spiders.
I photograph spiders. I'm a photo-minority...
