X100V Metering

Recently I found that ISO of  80% of photos which I took in a sunny day are above 1600. Some are ISO 6400. The aperture I used is f5.6 and the shutter speed is 1/500. IMO, the ISO should be around 800.

I have just done the testing by using two cameras to shoot the same subject. The Sony is a Full Frame camera and uses the 35mm focal length lens. The result is as follows:

The 1st test - Subject 1

  • Sony - aperture f/2.8 shutter speed 1/125 and the ISO is 1600
  • Fuji - aperture f2.8 shutter speed 1/125 and the ISO is 3200

The 2nd test - Subject 2

  • Sony - aperture f/2.8 shutter speed 1/125 and the ISO is 2500
  • Fuji - aperture f2.8 shutter speed 1/125 and the ISO is 5000

Any idea.

Thanks,

GF
