Can I do better than Landscape scene mode here?

I hear many use Aperture and Shutter Priority modes and even Manual mode, but to capture these amazing creek rocks in Glacier National Park, using Landscape mode + a Gorilla Pod seems to be doing justice to the details and colors I am trying to capture.

I tend to hop around a lot so I appreciate not having to fiddle with settings on each shot.

Can I do *better with my existing equipment from a technical standpoint in this partly-cloudy/overcast natural light?

Edit: By "better" I mean to better capture exactly what I see in terms of fullness of sharpness, detail and color subtleties.

I do understand I can blur the water in the other modes, but otherwise?

Pleasantly surprised that I captured the subtle shades and textures in these rocks.
