I have been looking for, with great interest, things about Fujifilm Finepix S5 Pro DSLR Body. I think in to acquise one, for my hobbies. Does anyone have anything to say about this camera? In practice, what are the differences between it and the Nikon D200?

The S5 is a great camera, which I used for 6 years. The main differences between the S5 and the D200 is the Super CCD sensor. The S5 has a much higher DR way it works. Each pixel has actually has two sensors -- a large 'S' sensor that records normal light, and a small 'R' sensor that records only bright lights.

In addition, the way how Fuji reproduces colors is superior compared to the D200. You can compensate this disadvantage of the Nikon by using custom color profiles.

BTW: I switched from Fuji S5 to Nikon D600, D800 and D850 (the last two I still own) and then acquired a Fuji X-T1 for fun. In the meantime I mainly use a Fuji X-T3 and Fuji X-T4 and very seldom the Nikons.

Best regards
Michael
