Lighting for balloon photography at home

Hi,

My sister runs a balloon business, and she takes photos of the balloons to post on Instagram and her website.

Right now she uses a £40 ring light which she bought on Amazon, and it gives some light, but it's nowhere near bright enough. The problem is that there is too much noise in her photos. She uses either her phone or a Canon DSLR to take the photos.

She and I both know very little about lighting. What kind of light would you recommend? Would constant lighting be bright enough, or would it need to be flash? If flash, would that even work with her phone?

Sorry for the newbie questions!
