Curious. Are you attempting to print borderless?

Why buy a 13" inch, 10-position, pigment ink printer to make 4x6 inch prints?

Personally, I don't care to use quality pigment ink printers on RC papers, but Canon and, I guess, Red River make a number of affordable ones in 8x10 and 8-1/2 x 11. Canon Premium Matte and Fine Art Smooth are nice papers.

I'll check it out. I make 4x6 prints for my microscopy lab book. I do plenty of 13x19! Also checking out the new printer. why print bigger until things are sorted out?

No, I have never made a borderless print.  I have a pack of RR Polar Matte and the Epson had no problem, but choose Matte paper on this printer and it won't allow 4x6, but it will allow it with semi-gloss, etc.  Why?
