Pixel Shift on GFX 100s

Hello all

I wonder have many people tried using the pixel shift function on the GFX 100 or 100s?  I've used it a couple of times for flat repro and am getting results that are too soft to use.  I realise that this may be a problem with the tripod and am going to try some more experiments, but I am not sure.  A lot of the examples I have seen online are also softer than a straight capture.  One thing I found though, even though it's the wrong lens for this type of work, that it seems to out-resolve the 32-64 and also tends to show quite a bit of CA towards the edges.  You mightn't notice this as much at the normal resolution.  I'll be trying when I can next with the GF 120 macro.

PS am also following the excellent thread on the 19mm PCE here thank you all.  Am using a novoflex adaptor and while it's rock solid, it has hard vignetting at even 0 shift.  V useful however for a 3:2 crop taken from the file.

Best R
