Worth buying a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 (2014) in 2021?
1

Seeking advice: the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 (2014, not the II upgrade) appears to fit my needs and budget. I am an amateur enthusiast seeking to get a quality travel camera, main criteria are quality of images & size (jacket pocket/small bag). Very keen to finally have a good optical zoom as well.
I discarded mirrorless in favour of compact (I'm not doing anything fancy), landed on the Leica D Lux 7 (can't afford), which apparently imitates the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 II, both of these suit my needs (not budget). Enter the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100, apparently not that different from its successor.
Is it worth buying this in 2021 as a way of having a great camera at a manageable price? Or are there now other equivalent compact cameras that crack the trick of a good sensor etc. combined with premium compact size, for that price (around 500Eur as far as I can see)?
Thank you.
