Best point-and-shoot camera for motorbike racing

Love the TT and the manx come to that…

I used to cover both events (1993-2003) with nothing more than 2 slr’s a 50mm f1.7 and a 135mm f2.8 both manual focus , so I can say for a fact that a modern bridge camera will more than suffice as long as you do your bit and spend the time to learn. 
 Something like the fz330 or fz1000 if your on a tight budget would be a good choice.

Pick a good vantage spot on the course ( and there are loads ) Simply pre focus on a bend or brow of a hill and just wait . If your still not quite sure use the 4K photo mode with pre burst . 
 If you are willing to go with a Dslr you will need both a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens depending on where you are on the course .

Visiting the pits and start are very good spots to get images of riders and their bikes .
