50mm f/1.8G on DX camera vs 85mm f/1.8G on Nikon Z6 with FTZ

So right now I have a Nikon D7500 and for portraits, I mainly use the 50mm f/1.8G lens which is perfect. I will be changing a camera to Nikon Z6 and I don't have the money for the S lens, haha. So I was thinking about getting the 85mm f/1.8G and use it with the ftz adapter instead.

I don't plan to shoot videos with it, I'll get a Z line lens for it, either 20mm or 24mm prime. The 85mm will be used mostly for portraits. So focus breathing or slower AF won't matter that much to me.

How will it perform compared to my old dx setup? I just really want to know if it's worth spending the extra money on the full frame camera. Also, theoretically, the bokeh should be better since it's f/1.8 multiplied by the crop factor, right? Which would look like a f/1.2 on the dx camera.
