I'm new in micro four thirds, got a E-M5 MkII body and looking for a standard lens for hiking & traveling. This of course brings 12-100/f4 into consideration, reviews are excellent. Only worry I have is how it is balanced on such a small body.

It looks really huge, comparing with 12-45/f4

I like this on-lens solution. So far I was always carying at least 2 lenses with other system, but missed some shots because of not having right reach at the right time

Any experience with this combo, please?

thanks

It is fine with the E-M1II.

And also remember this is one of a few Oly lenses that has IS that dual syncs with the E-M1II. That alone makes it worth it. And the Bokeh from the 12-100 is very nice.
