Soft focus with 90D

I only have a basic understanding of photography, so maybe I have not set something up correctly, but compared to my 70D, photo's taken with my 90D are not as sharp. I am using the largest jpg setting. I have tried using both my Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS III USM Lens and my older EF-S 17-55mm. Results are the same. I have also tried the various AF modes and metering modes. For the test photo's I found that large area AF and evaluative metering gave the sharpest results. I used a tripod and I have tried to have the same exposure values on both the 90D and the 70D. These photo's were taken indoors under fluorescent light.

I am not sure if the original file is uploaded here, or whether file size is reduced, or if you can extract the EXIF. Here is a link to the original photo's just in case.

70D: 17-55mm lens

70D:Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS III USM Lens

90D:Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS III USM Lens

Thanks for any help.
