Canon RF 14-35 f/4 vs EF 16-35 f/4

The only real benefit ...

The only real benefit of the 14-35 over the 16-35 would be size/weight.  The 16-35 on an adapter is kind of big, but IQ wise I find nothing wanting in my 16-35.  It would be nice to 'upgrade' to the 14-35, but even with selling my 16-35 it would cost be about $1K.  I'd much rather just keep the 16-35 and buy the new 16 2.8 to carry along if concerned about size/weight.
