From what I remember reading, the Merrill sensor didn't play well with adapted lenses.

For some reason, the Quattro sensor doesn't have that issue (or it isn't as bad).

Also unsure how well either sensor type will work with a shorter flange distance and adapted lenses.

I may be in the minority, but I'd be fine with an SA mount release, especially if it was a Merrill re-issue. The lenses I have would work.

Wouldn't hold out for an "H", either.

I do not doubt that an existing generation Merrill or Quattro image that is good (in-focus, etc) will print just fine to 40 x 60.
