There is a clear difference between an actuator and a motor, but many times an actuator can also contain a motor.

I also was a bit surprised that Nikon sees the camera mount as a point of failure in case of too much weight, not the FTZ itself.

That's a weak point in EVERY camera with heavy lenses. That's why some lenses have tripod attachments or collars. Nikon is not unique.

My point was: the camera mount is designed to carry higher weights than what's stated in the FTZ manual. I don't quite see why with heavier lenses, the camera mount should become the weakest part, not the FTZ. That's all I wanted to say.
