I would go with the Z6II, or the R6. I prefer Nikon colors and Nikon lenses.

I also prefer the resolution, depth of field and low-light advantages of full-frame, so I would not go with APS-C.

On the Nikon/z6II side, I am not seeing any Z zoom/telephoto lenses (70-200 or 70-300... ignore the 70-200 f2.8 as way too $$$). Under older mount, they have a $500 70-300 f/4.5-5.6. Is that the only option, this lens with converter? I was assuming Nikon would have a full range of lenses for the mirrorless, or am I missing something? Or do you recommend another set of lenses?

No, you are not missing anything. Nikon hasn't flushed out it’s set of lenses yet. Sony has a very comprehensive set, and the Tamron f/2.8 zooms are fantastic and relatively inexpensive. It might be worth checking them out. They’re the only reason why I went with Sony…
