I'm returning to Canon because they have good pricing.

Well, in part. A sufficient level operating features and functions are paramount, but cost is an important factor too.

When I replaced my 5Dii with µ43 for travelling, µ43 bodies were aggressive priced and had enormous size/weight advantage (or rather; lack of size/weight = advantage).

But the trends in µ43 have significantly diverged with my priorities.

The trend of the µ43 cameras I deem to have "sufficient level operating features and functions" has been to become much more expensive and larger/heavier.

While the trend towards full frame mirrorless has diminished the size/weight advantage somewhat.

So when looking to refresh my gear, I now encounter scenarios like this:

And with the new F4 zoom trends, even some of the previous zoom penalties are reducing.

For me, Canons choices are the ones most closely aligning with my priorities at the moment.

I go where my choices take me, and they've taken me to many brands, and at the moment they lead me to Canon.
