Streaming with M Cameras
1

I am hoping that I can get some information regarding the current status of using M cameras for streaming. I spend most of my day online streaming with various people. I have a LogiTech c922 Pro Stream Webcam that I am using currently. I like to use a virtual background due to my home situation and find that there are many artifacts in the image even though I am using a greenscreen. My IT person thought that a better camera, such as a DSLR, might resolve this.

I currently have the original M and and an M5 that I could use for this purpose. As I don't use the M at all it would be great if I could use this camera. My use of the M5 is also very limited at this time. I also have an R and and an RP, but they are currently my main cameras so I would prefer not to tie one of them up for streaming.  I know that a while ago Canon came out with software to use some cameras for streaming.  From what I heard about it it seemed buggy and only worked with a limited number of cameras.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
