Autofocus works too with mirroless. I think Canon is rumored to be developing AF TS lenses for RF.

I'm not sure it's that useful. The Scheimpflug effect changes slightly as you focus, which means you either use tilt at infinity focus or you spend an awful lot of time running the match triangles focus aid all over the picture, changing the focus and adjusting the tilt until you find the right plane of focus. Exposure automation is something you can do without if you're making panoramas too.

A bit late for this particular part of the debate, bit you might find this short video interesting - https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/65463598

Watching that video gave me an idea.  Tilt a lens to the opposite extremes for a miniature effect and then use tracking autofocus with video.  Extremely niche would be an understatement.

Actually, what would be really useful is having AF capabilities when the lens is not tilted.  When I owned a couple TS-E lenses, I also had standard AF lenses in very similar focal lengths for general use.  Having AF on a TS-E lens would eliminate the need for duplicate lenses.  A lens like the TS-E 90mm f/2.8 macro would be great with AF and could be a good alternative to the 100mm f/2.8 macros.
