np - for portrait style the focusing speed is fine for me. I have other long and longer glass that focuses fast for sports, etc if needed. Soccer matches, I grab the 100-400gm. Birds the 200-600.
I know the 135 gm is a fast focuser and sharper wide open, but, for example, on todays pet shots, that reach would have been too long and I would not have been able to back up as much as I would need to.
Perhaps in a Mark II version they'll put the faster focusing in this.

yes, the 135 GM is the poster child for super-fast AF and extreme sharpness.

the 50 GM is fast and sharp, too.

And both of those lenses are on my list at some point

I'm also curious about the rumored 24-70gm upgrade.
