X-Pro rear LCD
1

We are all aware of the benefits of a tilt screen and most see it as a must have feature on a modern camera. I’ve recently picked up the X100V and I cannot go back to a fixed rear LCD.

With the controversy surrounding the latest X-Pro camera, I am pretty certain that it is not doing well sales wise. I personally see the rationale behind the decision to go for the current rear LCD design but looking forward, is there a better solution?

On the current design I like the ability to hide the screen to protect it from scratches (although the rear sub LCD is still exposed) and I love how quick it is to go from EVF to low angle shooting. I would love for this feature to stay, so after a bit of thinking, what do people think about having a bottom hinged articulating screen?

You will have the same shooting style as above, but with the ability to rotate the screen around for high angle shooting and the screen being outward facing.

I personally feel that this is the best solution that will please most people. Thoughts?
