The 20/f2.8 is one of my sharpest lenses.  I also find it fast to focus. It’s one of my go-to lenses, and one of my cheapest. Most people treat it as a sub-optimal lens.  Maybe mine is unusually good, it seems.  It’s a unicorn!

The 18-105G is a workhorse.  Ok, maybe it doesn’t have the ultimate sharpness, but use it at f5.6 for best results. The zoom range is good, and I found it good for action, events.

The 16-55/2.8 is sharp by all accounts. Get it if you want the convenience of a zoom.  A bit pricey for me. Instead, I adapted the a-mount 16-50/2.8, which is also super sharp - nearly prime sharp.  Focus isn’t great sometimes with the adapter- seems to need more light to focus better.
