That is NOT normal.  If it doesn't happen in camera or when reviewing in camera, then it is your RAW processor.   It almost looks like it is doing a failed content-aware fill around the edges.    What are you using to process these?

Try a free alternative like Canon DPP or RAWTherapee and see if the problem persists.
