I have a canon ef to ef-m adapter and I am using the full frame sigma ef DG OS HSM 100-400 f5-f6.3 and so far it's not bad. I literally just got it and I need to do some tweaks as some shots hit and others miss. Manual mode, AF spot/zone, so continuous shooting. I did day time in smoke and night shots and without a tripod. (mind you I currently have 2 broken wrists some of those out of focus shots were my inability to stabilize the camera).
I notice the AF is a little slow. But I like the quality at 100-300 better than the ef-m 18-150 lens as at 100 it's more like a 6.3.
I may be inclined to pickup the 70-200 sigma as well.
My deal is I think I want a seperate camera body for the longer lens and keep my primes on my m6 ii.
OR
I could just get another m6 ii since I love this camera and the menu and ease of use and the AF and speed.
Wondering if it would be worth it,,,get your opinions on doing another m6 ii or going the route of an M50 ii, M50, or even a 90d (kinda higher priced) or even a rebel t8i. On the rebel I'd miss the speed at only 7.5 fps continuous shooting. I'd likely also miss the 32mp. I can get used and refurb m6 ii and m50/m50 ii very affordably.
Please chime in. I know on the 90D and rebel the sigma lens would function better but also slower AF and slower FPS might allow the m6 ii to make up for that.
thanks
I would stay mirrorless, no rebel or 90D. Main reason: AF accuracy.
I would get another M6mkII. Let me quote you why:
since I love this camera and the menu and ease of use and the AF and speed.
Another reason is similarity is nice for your muscle memory, and you can also stay with just one type of battery.

I love 50mm (equivalence)
