Same for the lower left corner.

Then, do I crop the bottom so the photo is closer to symmetrical? If I do that the beautiful reflection of the tree in the lower center is lost.

Have to remember here that flexibility is the key to indecision.

What do you think? What would you do?

Wow, great input from everybody. Final result: took out the offending trees on both sides, moved the Great Heron to center right, left in the depth of the reflection in the lake, and took out the offending big blob leaf on the left side (that was fun, there was even a log on the edge of the water just to the right of the leaf that I made longer).

Went out to exactly the same place this morning and...the light was awful, the birds were gone.
