Sound like fun opportunity. I would bring two bodies and put a flash + diffuser on both. The 17mm on one body and the 45 on the other to start. You can shoot the flashes TTL and be prepared to dial back -1/3 to -2/3 flash compensation for a natural look. A little fill flash goes a long way. Especially if shooting raw. If one body, then I would start with the 25 and see your proximity to subjects is working.

Cheers!

Good idea.

I hadn't considered two bodies. I have an E-M5 II that is adequate but power off switch is broken (I have a slight workaround, set auto power off to several hours, so I can wake it from sleep for long periods by touching the shutter release).

Yeah ... you need two bodies, especially if your M5 II isn't 100% reliable. As others pointed out, having multiple bodies with different lenses mounted will give you the flexibility and quick response needed for many candid shots.
