Waiting for my new camera -Canon M50 with 18-150mm lens, I tried to get some pictures of yesterday's full moon with my smartphone that has a pro mode, allowing me to take pics with manual settings.

Set s:1/160, RAW and ISO100, zoomed it, used a mini/smartphone tripod of course, and the result was this

Full moon from Xiaomi Note 9

It got worse when I tried to include some buildings in the picture. By increasing S or ISO, so that the buildings would be visible, the moon started to flare and and looking wobbly.

What do I have to do to get a good picture of the moon, with other objects around it (buildings, trees etc?). Dont have to answer just for smartphone - soon I will have my camera. I understand that the 150mm zoom is not the ideal for moon, but i think it wont be too bad.

How do we get the result (approximately) of that pic?

Thank you
