No strap at all, or a wrist strap?  There is a lot of stress put on the camera lens mount plate with a bit lens.  I had the screws come loose on the mount plate on the camera causing F0 errors with the 50-140.  Since then any lens with a foot I either use a shoulder strap connected to the foot, or on a monopod or tripod.
