This is really a show of bad faith

First of all , if you use the aspect ratio , then one should apply the same logic for the focal that you call standards ie 17,25mm and 45mm. You are trying to get it both ways

and no the GFX 50mm is not 3.2 ratio

There are endless arguments about what a true “normal” focal length is.

You are right BUT this does not change the facts

The term normal focal lens was based  on which focal length on a 35m camera would be the closest to the human eye in terms of size of the subject . this normal focal length was  about 43mm .

so this means that a focal length of 40mm or 45mm would be the closest to "normal focal range " regardless of what focal length people prefer
