My suggestion is don't.

If  you are going to meticulously shoot, process and archivally  wet print yourself  and optimize the process each step of the way ... film can be very rewarding.  But you pay for that warm fuzzy feeling in time and money and the images will most likely be different not better.

However, if the plan is to turn over processing to a public lab  and scan the film  I would say   a ten  year old  Nikon D810  or an APS-C  Fujifilm XT4   featuring  content that is  selected and lit  specifically  with the aim being to  convert to B&W,  will  yield far more satisfying results.
