I tried to warn you about that.

The power of built-in flash is minimal, and diffusers further reduces the power .... and the "softer" effect is not noticeable anyway unless close.

And ALL flash is very limited in SUN-light (fill-flash) on typical cameras w/ focal-plane shutters.

Thus "bridge" cameras (w/ "leaf" shutters) can allow 4X further SUN-light range.

I will never have another camera w/ focal-plane shutter ...
