m43 superzooms are generally brilliant... except for the older models.

I used to own the Lumix 14-140mm Mk1, and it was a heavy lens, and also one which  never produced sharp images for me. Also, the Mega OIS didn't seem to add much.

Replacing it with the Lumix 14-140mm Mk2 was one of the best decisions I've made with my gear. Smaller, lighter, much better stabilisation, and slightly faster (f/3.5 at the wide end versus f/4 with the old model), it is capable of very sharp images.
